How We Got There

It is rare to see this much wear and tear at such a young age. Eric had a history of heavy grinding. By his mid-thirties, most of the enamel had been worn away on the back teeth. Using neuromuscular dentistry principles, we were able to recapture and balance the lower jaw posture and reset the bite in that position. This process relieved the tension in the lower jaw muscles and the grinding has stopped.
The final bite was designed by "re-enamalizing" the back teeth with conservative hybrid ceramic onlays (CEREC). While Eric was going though the process, we decided to enhance the teeth in the smile zone with veneers.
