How We Got There

Michael's new smile and heightened happiness is dramatically demonstrated in the before and after smile photos. Yet, the greatest benefit he expressed after the completion of his work was the relief of head, jaw-joint and neck pain that had been plaguing him for years. Being an intelligent health care consumer, Michael spent several years looking for answers about his bite and head pain. He placed the final solution on hold when it was recommended that he surgically reposition his lower jaw and bite to improve the symmetry of his lower face. So, Michael just waited until he came across aesthetic neuromuscular dentistry.
Asking Michael why he chose this approach, he responded "It made so much logical sense. The neuromuscular diagnosis confirmed that my lower jaw was jamming back into my jaw joints because of my deep bite. As a result, my muscles were over working causing chronic muscle fatigue pain and a forward head posture. Now that I have completed my treatment, I love my new smile. In addition I no longer experience pain in my head, jaw, and neck. My friends say I look fifteen years younger and ask me what I have done? I tell them that I just have more to smile about!"

Michael founded Barefoot Cellars in January of 1986. His main responsibility is directing Sales and Marketing. Michael's fun after work activity is hiking the NaPali Coast of Kauai in Hawaii. His favorite Barefoot Wine is Sonoma County Reserve Zinfandel paired with wild boar BBQ.
